The Most Used Shipping Service Providers by German Online Stores

Our analysis of the most preferred shipping service providers for online shops in Germany shows that DHL is the most popular choice with a 70% share.
This is followed by DPD and Self-collection options with 20% and 16% respectively. UPS secures a 12% share while GLS and Deutsche Post follow with 11% and 8% respectively. Meanwhile, Hermes rounds off the list with 5%.
Our analysis is based on shipping information from 4,748 German online shops for which information is known and available. It is possible that online shops use more than one carrier.
