The purchasing behavior of online shoppers in South Korea varies across different age groups, as revealed by a survey conducted by Statista Consumer Insights. The youngest age group, 18-24, shows a preference for Bags & Accessories, which has the highest percentage of purchases at 15%. Consumer Electronics is the top category for the 25-34 age group, with 24% of respondents reporting a purchase. As age increases, priorities shift, and Furniture & Household Goods becomes the most popular category for the 35-44 age group, with 31% of respondents making a purchase. Cosmetics & Body Care and Household Appliances take the lead for the 45-54 age group, both with 29% of respondents purchasing them. Finally, Household Appliances is the most popular category for the 55-64 age group, with 24% of respondents making a purchase.
