Most Used Shop Software by Online Shops in Germany - Shopware Ranks First

More Than a Third of Online Stores in Germany Use Shopware

Of all shops that generate the majority of their revenue in Germany, 36% say they use Shopware as their shop software provider. The remaining providers have smaller shares. Magento is in second place with 16% usage, while JTL-Shop is in third place with 10% of online shops stating that they use this provider.

OXID Eshop comes in fourth with a slightly higher share than fifth-placed Shopify. Both have a rounded 6% share of online shops in Germany that say they use their service.
