The Top 7 Most Used Shipping Service Providers by UK Online Stores
Our ecommerceDB analysis of the most common shipping providers used by UK online stores in 2023 found that 39% of them use Royal Mail, followed by DPD at 27%.
Self-collection, or Click & Collect services are also popular, with 24% of online stores saying they offer self-collection to their customers.
Other popular shipping service providers in the UK are DHL (14%), UPS (8%) and Evri (8%). Hermes UK rebranded to Evri in 2022, and has been operating under the new name ever since.
Parcel Force comes last on our list, with 6% of UK online stores saying they use this shipping provider to deliver parcels to their customers.
The analysis is based on 2,491 UK online stores, for which shipping information is available and known. Moreover, online stores may use more than one carrier.
