The Top Shipping Providers of U.S. Online Stores

Based on available and known shipping information from 5,331 U.S. online stores, our analysis shows that most of these retailers rely heavily on USPS (United States Postal Service) and UPS (United Parcel Service) for their shipping needs, with both carriers accounting for a significant 43% share each.
FedEx follows closely behind at 38%. Interestingly, a significant proportion of these online stores offer the option of self-collection or click & collect, accounting for 11% of the total.
DHL and EMS play a smaller role, with percentages of 10% and 1% respectively. A minority, 1%, choose their own delivery service. It is also possible for online shops to use more than one carrier.
