Top 10 Online Stores in Germany

German eCommerce is on a constant upward trend. The German Retail Association HDE estimates last year’s revenues to amount to €59.2 billion. And 2020 is probably another strong year for online retail, despite – or maybe rather because of corona. Statista has been tracing the developments in the German eCommerce market since 2009. In cooperation with EHI Retail Institute, we will publish the study “E-Commerce Markt Deutschland” (E-Commerce Market Germany) for the twelfth time in October. As in previous years, we are presenting the list of the top 100 online stores in Germany in advance. Our infographic features the top group. German amazon.de1 continues to be the number 1 in the market, with a revenue of around €10.5 billion in 2019. Otto (€3.4 billion) and Zalando (€1.6 billion) follow at a great distance. Apple is new to the top ten. The German online store of the tech giant generated around €588 million in revenue.
